DAY TOURS
Come to Shropshire and enjoy its many wonderful attractions. From Scenic beauty, Historic buildings (and ruins!), museums, manicured Gardens, living Victoriana, to aircraft and steam trains. There are two World Heritage sites (Ironbridge Gorge and Vale of Clwyd) within 35 minutes drive of Shrewsbury.
It is also known for it’s great variety of ‘one-off’ shops – far away from the hustle and bustle of cities. It makes a truly memorable place to take U.K. holiday vacations.
Enjoy the space! Out of 90 counties in England, Shropshire is the 6th least populated, which helps explain the relaxing feel.

Pitchford Hall

The Ironbridge
It has a truly remarkable variety of places to visit, or just view, ranging from the first iron bridge in the World, the original ancestor of all skyscrapers, to a Cold War headquarters, to an area with the greatest number of the known geological ages. It has a wealth of timber-framed houses, including the first ‘Black & White’ house, many of which are in the six main market towns, all set in quiet, attractive countryside.
The Welsh border has spectacular countryside interspersed with fascinating towns and thriving villages. The Celtic traditions are all around with the magnificent Castles, Churches and Cathedrals. ‘Float in the sky’ on Thomas’ Telford’s magnificent Pontcysyllte aqueduct.
